Kubuntu is a powerful free and open source Linux-based operating system for business, education and home use. Part of the award-winning Ubuntu project, Kubuntu uses the KDE desktop.
As well as providing the Kubuntu operating system itself, this CD is filled with ready-to-use software to access the internet, create documents and spreadsheets, play games, music and videos, and much more. It’s easy to install, free of viruses and perfect for laptops and desktops. We release a new version of Kubuntu every six months which you can download for free, forever.
This CD will install Kubuntu in a number of widely-spoken languages and many more can be installed on demand. Kubuntu is developed by a global community of users and is supported commercially by Canonical. Kubuntu and its regular updates will always be free of charge.
System requirements
To use Kubuntu, you should have a PC with at least 256 MB of RAM. To install Kubuntu, you should have at least 4 GB of disk space. This desktop edition will run on most PCs, including those with Intel or AMD processors.
All orders for packs of 100 and 200 CDs will be shipped for free. However, if you add anything else to your order you will need to pay the shipping for these items and they will be shipped separately to your bulk order of CDs.
